Saying Goodbye in the Comfort of Your Home
When the time comes to say goodbye to your beloved pet, we will come to your home at a time that feels right for you and your family. To keep your pet comfortable and at ease, we begin with a gentle sedative that helps them relax within about 5–10 minutes. Once they are calm, we place a small intravenous catheter to safely administer the medication that allows for a peaceful passing at home, surrounded by the people who love them most. Afterward, we step aside to give your family private time to say goodbye. When you are ready, we will gently take your pet with us and arrange for cremation. If you wish, a private cremation can be arranged so your pet’s ashes are lovingly returned to you. Through every step, our goal is to honor the bond you share and provide comfort during this difficult time.

Stories of Comfort and Compassion
Kent L
When it was time to say goodbye to our family dog, Dr. Barry Katz arrived without delay.
I wasn’t really prepared for the gravity of the situation, but Dr. Katz knew what to do, what to say, and how to say it. It was one of our family’s most moving experiences.
All of us are eternally grateful to the compassion and professionalism Dr. Katz showed that night.

Drs. Jenya and Barry Katz are the most caring veterinarians that we have had for our dogs.
I can't say enough about our experience with at home euthanasia for our dog with Dr. Katz.
While we knew our sweet Bella was near her end, we had to make a very quick decision after she experienced a seizure at home. We contacted Dr. Katz and he came over on rather short notice. He explained the process and told us what to expect.
We were comforted that Bella left this world in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family and our other dog, Bailey, and not in a place that would stress her out. I do believe it helped Bailey understand what happened to Bella by being a part of the process.
Afterwards, we received her ashes in an urn and very nice paw prints.
For such a sad occasion, it was a very positive experience.

Dr. Jenya Katz was there for my family when we had to say our final farewell to our beloved calico, Grace Kelly.
Dr. Jenya was incredibly compassionate throughout the experience, and Grace passed peacefully in our arms.
Dr. Jenya is by far the best veterinarian with whom we've ever worked. She's also an amazing person who cares deeply for her patients and their families. She now cares for our almost 20 year old silver tabby, Lilly.
We're incredibly grateful to have Dr. Jenya in our corner.
